J.D. Power and Associates Ranks Verizon Business Highest in Customer Satisfaction Among Large Enterprises - BASKING RIDGE, N.J.

Recently, Verizon ranked leading for customer satisfaction among large enterprise data service customers by J.D. Power and Associates. Now, they are given the highest ranking in overall customer satisfaction among large-enterprise voice service providers.
According to J.D Power and Associates' 2009 Major Provider Business Telecommunications Study - Data Services(SM) "When it comes to customer satisfaction, Verizon Business is a leader in its class". J.D. Power and Associates is a global marketing information services company and a business unit of The McGraw-Hill Companies.
The J.D Power and Associates 2009 Major Provider Business Telecommunication Services Study surveyed U.S home-based, SME (Small Medium Enterprise) and Large Enterprise business customers. It was conducted in January and April of 2009 and was carried out to measure customer satisfaction with providers of telecommunications voice services such as voice over IP (VoIP), call center technologies, toll-free services and long-distance services.
The overall score of Verizon Business is 684 on a scale of 1,000 which is 22 points higher than the large-enterprise segment average score. In this regard, the respondents of the said study concluded that Verizon Business sets the benchmark for five of the six factors used to measure customer satisfaction: performance and reliability, sales representatives/account executives, billing, cost of service and offerings and promotions. Verizon Business scores high in both offerings and promotions and billing factors.
